The Denver Economic Development & Opportunity’s (DEDO) Global Business Development team, along with the World Trade Center Denver, welcomes SensaWeb in the upcoming Denver Global Landing Pad (GLP) program.
The Denver Global Landing Pad is a business acceleration program that aims to guide foreign small businesses in exploring opportunities in Denver. It’s a virtual introductory tool kit for the participating executives, giving them an overview of the US market and how they can jumpstart the expansion.
Soft Landing and Quick Expansion
Now in its third year, the Denver GLP will upskill small-scale businesses through a 7-week program featuring a 3-hour virtual session every Tuesday at 4pm Mountain Standard Time (MST). The acceleration program still goes virtual after doing it last year to adapt to the circumstances brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
It has been a slowdown for the economy with limited travel and business activities. Despite this, DEDO’s Global Business Development team has continued connecting with international companies to promote Denver as a prime location for business growth.
The 2021 program starts on August 24 and closes on October 5. Collective workshops will be offered, with experts giving advice on the legal requirements for creating a company in the city. How do you hire talent? How do you open a bank account? These are just some of the primers from local experts of the World Trade Center Denver.
With Denver’s supportive and diverse start-up community, this program is a perfect opportunity for starting businesses like SensaWeb. Along with name-brand companies, start-ups thrive as well to be the city’s next big success story.
Scaling Up the Radiation Monitoring Business
Radiation exposure is a global problem and SensaWeb is ready to introduce its advanced radiation monitoring system to businesses outside Australia.
Started and currently based in Queensland, SensaWeb is a start-up that provides solutions to radiation exposure, which is heavily regulated in industries like healthcare and mining. It has a complete end-to-end real time monitoring solution for any organisation who needs to monitor and report on their Radiation and X-Ray regulatory requirements.
Aside from the upcoming Denver Global Landing Pad, the SensaWeb team has been involved in several community engagements and has been recognized by key organisations. It has also received grants and awards like the IoT Alliance Innovation Award.
“We are excited to be part of the City of Denver Global Landing Pad Program. This program is run by the City of Denver to encourage global companies to build in and around Denver. We’re aiming to meet key people across various industries and government organisations, both for market opportunities and just understanding what is required to set up business. The Aerospace and Innovation events coming up in the next few months in Denver are of great interest to us, and we can’t wait to be involved.” – SensaWeb team
